How the heck do I use this?
@answerme is a little tool to help you track questions you ask on Twitter. Imagine Yahoo! Answers lite built on Twitter and you've got a good idea of what we're doin' here.
- follow answerme
- Follow @answerme if you want to get updates on popular questions, the service and direct messages of answers to your questions.
- @answerme Should I get a 1TB Time Capsule?
- This is how you ask a basic question using @answerme. Simply start your twit with @answer me and make sure it ends with a question mark. In a few seconds our bot should have picked up your question.
- @answerme @questioner I have one and it totally rules! Definitely get one!
- This is how you'd reply to a question. You start your twit with @answerme, then @username of the person who asked the question, followed by your reply to the question
- @answerme 779473803 win
- This is how you mark a response as the winner answer or your favorite response. Start your twit with @answerme, then the status ID of the winning answer, followed by the word 'win'. You don't have to do this, but it's fun and will highlight that answer for subsequent users. If you're unsure what the status ID of the answer is look to the right of your favorite answer for a large random number; that's the status ID.
That's it? Yeah, that's about it. We're going to be adding more features, such as tagging and bot commands, but for now that should get the ball rolling.
